I am a front player, and I prefer cockers. I ordered a halfblock, but there is a chance I won't get it because of long waiting times. So, the question is which marker, preferrably cocker, is good replacement?
It has to be light, small and cocker Smiley

I have a DYE Ultralite minicocker, and it's great, but it has aluminium bolt (heavy), and I cannot upgrade it because it's not standart size and locking - it does not has a push pin. Because of that, when i fire, cocker is shaking n my hands and the barrel is jumping. I tried to reduce cocking pressure, but then bolt does not recock.

I appreciate your help.

For light, it's hard to beat Jackal's RDL line of guns. But for small, they aren't all that much smaller. In fact there isn't really a way to make a cocker appreciably smaller besides halfblocking and to a lesser degree mini-ing.

You can see the RDL at http://www.g3pb.com. It's pretty much the next best thing to halfblocking IMO.

I will be glad to, but Dye Ultralite has custom bolt. It's of different length and locking. Anyone knows, who does bolts and back blocks for Ultralite?

Thanks.

I think what pump is saying is take the back block and bolt off and replace both... Don't worry about the P-block just use a normal block.  It may not look conventional, but as a temporary fix it will definately lighten your reciprocating mass.

if i can have a very very detailed desription and picture of the bolt i might be able to turn one out on a lathe for you for a small fee.

EDIT: I did my halfie by myself if i get permission from my metal shop teacher i might be able to half yours for you.

you can simply drill a hole into the dye backblock and use evo-lentgh bolts

Also you can use an freeflow backblock (from a rhythm or lotus), it fits fine (i sold the backblock from my halfed lotus to a dye owner).

I might get shot for saying this, but have you looked at a Palmer's Blazer?  Small, light, but pricy.  They have an Ebladed model now too.

I had one years ago, but it wasn't very reliable.  My brother has one now, and it flat out rips.  I think they have worked the bugs out.  You might check them out...

Ya... your gunna get shot saying that here  ...
But seriously, I've never shot or seen a palmers at my local feild... Looking at it online, it's realy ugly but thats no way to judge a gun. I just can't see spending 396 on a mech blazer or 1200 on an e-blazer when for 398 you could get (I can't believe I'm saying this) a wrath, ion, or promaster. And for 1200 there's a list a mile long of guns both new and used I'd take before the e-blazer.

I'm with ya on the price of those things Snow.  My brother got his used for $200, but had to buy a barrel.  I hate the way the e-blazers look, and the price is rediculous.  I should have checked their website before I posted before...

I still must say though, his mech Blazer is a very nice gun.  Super compact and light, but my E-halfblock will smoke the Blazer anyday...
