Doing some math, If using all new off-the-shelf half block parts (Ti pull pin, delrin sled, non mini aluminum pump arm, delrin bolt), Turtle cockers have a reciprocating mass of 35 grams.
Recalculating the SLIK reciprocating mass by removing the cocking rod weight, and adding the weight of a full length aluminum pump arm (CCM is as light as the rest of them), they have a reciprocating mass of 32.9 grams. Impressive. I was wrong. Props to SLIK.
One thing to keep note of. If someone is NOT using the aluminum pump arm in either case, the result shifts greatly. Loosing 1/3 of a steel pump arm looses almost 7 grams! In which case, the half block would have the advantage. Adding the weight of the cocking rod is pointless. If we want to do that, then Half Block has the advantage, because there is no cocking rod. But that isn't fair, now is it? They need to make a note somewhere saying that their claimed reciprocating mass is lighter than turtle cockers if assuming you use an aluminum pump arm.
NOW... for MY personal midgeted mini half block. Total reciprocating mass is only 30.8 grams including the pump arm. Take that SLIK!

Just wait till I make my Nylatron bolt.. estimated weight of 12.5 grams!
