First thing I would like to ask is that there is no flaming of Turtle Innovation or any of it's employees. I whant to know if anyone has had a good experience with turtle. 350 for a one color body kit cannot be beat, but many have had bad bussiness with turtle... and than again they continue to assure costomers their new location has solved everything.

I ordered a one color body kit a little over a month ago....I still havent gotten it yet, nor do i know when i will.  The last email that i got on thursday night said that it was shipped but that i just didnt get the tracking number from paypal.  I am skeptical to say the least.

There is no reason to yell at me or any one else form Turtle Innovation. As for looking at the buy/sell/trade we don't steal markers. We are not in it to steal anything. We have shipped it out to you and if I remember correctly it was a gold to black and you name is Cam Am I correct. If you want to say those things thatis fine. but it was one of them from the change over and the address was lost and when you contacted us we said that we would be able to get it out to you, If I remember correctly. You Will get your marker back and I know that we have shipped it off. So you saying about the dark side in not needed and all the other stuff as well. If you would care to talk to me I will send you my number in a pm.  And I don't understand what 18 days to go for what means.

Snowman that would be great to do that but there is one problem,  We are not that big of a company and what we do is with the money get the markers re-anodized.  If that is what they want.  If we had the big money backing we could do that.  Now if it is a Conversion with out anodizing that would work great, or if you order parts kit that would be great to.  But if you want it re-anodized we would have to do at least half up front.  But for them to say that we stole there marker and then have someone else assume that we are selling them well that is just crazy.  we can build a whole new marker.  I am now in charge of R&D work.  and look through the forums.  Reading this, this is from back when I still owned Turtle Cockers.  And it was a problem I caused.  Got the marker in and put all the info on my computer and threw the box it came in out.  Well with a computer crash and you can Talk to Ryan from Disruptive Paintball  because I was doing some work for him at the time and lost the G-code program on my computer when it crashed and that is 37000 lines of code.  I couldn't remember who's it was and then he finally called and we had an answer to the marker sitting there.  That is the truth, if you want to believe it or not.  With Turtle Innovation it is much better organized and the coputer system gets backed up end of everyday.  Also save programs on 2 computers now.  Incase one crashes.  And with the Paypal it also has a History section for another back up to check back on.  It has been a hard road and alot of learning on my part to kow I couldn't do it all alone.  I had to swollow alot of pride and emit that I couldn't do it all.  That is one of the hardest things for me to do.  But as soon as i did it seems like a lot of weight got lifted off me and we have been running much smoother.  I am truely sorry for the problem that we/ well I caused.  But you will see a much better service and we are trying to answer every e-mail that comes in.  Even if it makes us Look Like and donky we will tell you the truth.  I will also send some e-mails to people that have used us in the last month to see if they will post in here.

I own 2 Turtled cocker & have never had a problem with the company. My last purchase with Turtle was a little over a month ago & the product was recieved within 4 days.... Longs business has made huge efforts to improve the availability of halfcockers & associated parts available to us the players & techs. As with any business your gonna screw up or lose something & dealing with this is a not the easiest of things. I truly would have no issues sending my equipment in to be modified.. All the business I can send Turtles way I do & have never had anyone come back to me saying they were either dissapointed with the work or timeframe.....

I have good feedback for turtle. I sent out my gun a week ago to get eyes drilled, which they did for free. I was in contact with them the whole time, they emialed me everytime. I got my gun back in a week.  No problems at all, and the drilling was great. Mr. Long has been great when dealing with me. I couldn't ask for more, he's helped me out. I will go to them when my gun is half blocked.

I did not deal with Turtlecockers.com to get my Turtle. In fact because of the state of things, I avoided them, unfortunately. I got mine through an eBay auction from A+ Annodizing.

Ok well it looks like i was right about those 5 bodies, at least for me.  I dont know if you guys have gotten yours yet, but a few days after A+ told me they sent them back to turtle i got a tracking number and a few days later i got the body kit in the mail.  I am very happy with the quality of the body.  Some minor pitting and small ano scratches in one or two spots but nothing major.  If anybody from turtle innovation still reads these message boards i would just suggest stating on the website that the wait times could be longer than 3-4 weeks (or in my case it was a 2 week wait time that was shown on the website) just to avoid anybody getting angry.  Also you guys really need to send out emails when it goes to the anodizer and stuff just so the customer knows exactly what is going on.  I would have not had a problem waiting if i was just told an accurate timeline.  Turtle should also offer an option to have the eye holes drilled into the body when they order.  Its not a big deal for me as I am sure that i can do it myself but just for people who cannot.  I hope crash and jokerz got/get your bodies too.

Yeah, my body was also among the 5 that were recently sent back, and i just got it a couple days ago. All is fine, the conversion works very well.

I know Mr. Long isnt keeping your marker intentionally, he's a good guy;  and i know it would be pointless for me to tell you to be paitient because if i was in your position i would be going insane. Take care, and i wish you the best of luck in getting your marker back soon.

I finally got mine on Wednesday Feb. 1.  I ordered it on November 18, 2005 with a 15* ASA.  It was worth the wait, well I was getting a little worried.

Does anyone know if rlong is honoring the 20% refund if time frame is not met?  I was told mine was delivered, and I was supposed to receive it before Christmas.  Looks like mine was lost in the mail also.

Two people on pbn are happy with turtle innovations. One guy sent his gun in and the day they recieved it, they did the complete conversion, and sent it out. It looks like Bob is really turning his business back around.

Yup, that was me.  They said that they would prob send it back out day after they get it, but they got it back out on the same day!  Just wish I had an opportunity to try this thing out (stupid rainy weather)!  I really like the low profile bolt pin.  Also opted for a new titanium pump rod from Turtle.  I'll post more pix in a gallery or thread later after I've got a chance to play with it.

Alright...where do I start? Remember my last post? I think it sums up what I think about you know who. At that point and time it didn't matter anymore whether the gun came back after a year or not...look I really didn't care anymore. As for being embaressed about talking alot of smack...I have one question...WHY SHOULD I BE EMBARESSED? If anyone should it should be MR LONG for taking so LONG!  :evil:

I could turn this into a mudslinging b**chfest but I think everyone is tired of the whole thing (I believe I said that in my last post)...People know what TURTLE is about.  :evil:

Am I satisfied with the return of my gun (finally) well it depends on how you look at it...Finally getting my gun back...yes...having anodized in the colors looking it belongs on my doorstep with a candle burning inside of it on Hallowe'en night...no...I believe the colors I asked for were black fade to YELLOW. A reputable company would have fixed this before sending it back to a customer or compensate the customer in someway. A note of apology would help...hmmm....customer service...now there's a concept.
Maybe "someone" should learn about this for future reference.

Yeah...we got our stuff back after waiting three...six...twelve months...but the fact of the matter still remains that while "someone" sits there all smug about "returning all your guns" he should have kept to his promises and not wasted everyone's time with wishy-washy excuses, or in certain situations no excuse at all. I admit you can't satisfy everyone...but the average person playing paintball works hard to pay for equipment for the sport...you pay your money and you expect the goods in return.

As I said in my last post...(and this is the last time) I will talk about the TURTLE subject...

LETS GET BACK TO PLAYING PAINTBALL...NUFF SAID :twisted:

Dude, I understand that you are doing your customers right now.  That is great.  But you can't keep using the "that was turtlecockers" excuse.  It is still you doing the work.  It is still your home the guns are being shipped to.  You still do all of the interaction with the customers.  What makes you think that is a valid excuse?  Changing the URL of a website doesn't erase the past.  You keep calling it a "new company", but where are all of the other employees?  Why are the guns being shipped to your house?  Why don't we hear from anyone else?  Why do you use your home number for a business number?  Why can't this company afford a real website?  Why does the shop on your site look like a basement?  It really does look like all that has changed is the name.  You say your dad "runs" the business.  Why do we never hear from him?  It is very clear who runs turtleinnovation.  The same guy who ran turtlecockers.com.

I wish you would just take responsibility for your actions.  That is why so many people still talk about it.  If you would just admit that you screwed up and got behind and maybe told a few lies to try to fix it people could have come closure.  Until you do that no one is going to just forget it.  The only people that will support you are people who are relatively new and weren't around when all of that other stuff was going on.  You need to get it through your head that until you admit a few things and stop making excuses you will always struggle.  There are too many people who know better.  As long as they are still talking and posting you will always have a bad reputation.  Trying to get people to drop the old name and refer to the new one just won't work.

EDIT:  Sorry Gonzo.  I can't help it.  The lies irk the hell out of me.

i had my marker turtle'd by rlong, and i would like to report that everything went smooth.  he kept great communication through emails.  provided a tracking number when my marker was sent back to me.  all the cuts we're very clean, the parts also very well made.  i will be doing business with turtle innovation again.
