Hey guys,

First off, I pre-ordered the MQ-Valve a long time ago, as soon as I received my Z-force body right after they were released. Later did I find out that the valve was not going to fit. After giving up on the hope it would fit, I got a call from PBX saying my spot on the MQ was up, and I decided to just order it and see if I could make the valve fit. Well I did, and it shoots great. Here are some pictures of what I used and how I did it. Sorry I dont know where to get the parts, as I had them laying as unknown pieces in my tool box but they look like rubber grommets found in a hardware store for faucet repairs.

The two peices I used. The first one is just a spacer to make the valve hole line up, the second is a softer rubber and required some dremel work so the front o-ring grove on the valve would fit snugly.

Here you can see the angular spot I dremeled out. I used a round stone dremel attatchment and it fit perfectly.

One of the only problems I ran into, was the screw twards the back holding the top body tube on, was too long and braking the seal the valve chamber so I had to shorten it.

Look Ma, no sear or sear tripping sollenoid.

Now, the rubber grommets if you will slide into the valve with a little force, kinda like a perfectly sized paintball going into a barrel. I used Dow Corning 55 to lube the crap out of everything and NO Leaks what so ever.

The gun shoots great, however I've yet to take it to a field. I will say though, that the marker has MUCHO less kick, and is MUCH quieter. I was suprised at the noise reduction.

More to come after a day or two at the field, just wanted to give some hope to all the Z-Force owners out there who are heartbroken like I was that the valve did not fit. Maybe PBX can simply make a spacer for the merlin/z-force style bodys out there.

Dont order the valve and get upset at me if you cant get it to fit. Dont cut anything and mess it up and blame me. If your not comfortable messing with your marker, dont screw it up, just wait for pbx. I did not do any unrepairabe damage to the body other than shortening one screw. If you Cant wait like me, have faith its been done.

p.s. excuse any spelling errors, I just make paintball guns work and teach people how to fly planes.
