i would think the question is, do you really need dual regulators on a mini?

Dual regs gives you better consistency and also with palmers regs allows you to run co2. Here is the setup on my freeflow and a similar setup will probably be on the turtle.

That is specifically for that trigger frame system, there is no need for two on a standard cocker.

I know the OP meant dual LPRs but I thought I'd mention that I ran dual regs on mine for a while:

I originally got that second reg to run CO2 on my mech backup gun ... it's back on there and off this turtle, but since I also moved my Stiletto drop, I can't run CO2 on it anymore.

BTW mudd, innovative positioning on the 2nd reg ... I had another double-regged full-size and was able to do something similar:

I've been running co2 with my stiletto drop, it's more readily availible to me with a weld supply store a block away, and I fill my own tanks. (It averages out at less than a dollar per 20 oz fill from a 20# bottle, which is another reason to stick with it.)  I built my own anti-siphon tubes that run the length of the tank and bend to the upper end when installed on marker.  When I'm firing extremely fast the bottle gets so cold it hurts, the bottom of the palmers frosts up a bit, and thats where it stops, everything else runs normal temp.  Someday I'll switch to C/A or nitro, but not till I find somewhere local to fill a scuba so I can fill my own.

That looks like it was a pain in the butt to get together.  I take it the regs are hard mounted to each other then mounted to the duckbill?

Yeah basically the regs and the ASA are all assembled together, then attached to the DIY drop. Actually worked out fairly well and until I went HPA I was using this setup without much trouble (I don't have antisiphon tanks).
