Are the Martin halfblocks any good. I know someone who is selling his martin halfblock body. I am interested but wondering if you guys know anything about them. It is not the mini version. Also if I needed spare parts for them are they easy to find. I don't think that company is around anymore. Can I use parts from other halfblock makers?

Martin bodies are awsome, but to be realy honest with you I don't have a clue if any of the body parts are interchangable.

Worst case scenario you can get a sled & bolt from Turtle as replacement for the Martin sled & bolt. I am quite sure that Turtle would knock out a bolt that fits the martin block for you if there is any differences between his & theirs (which I believe turtle bolts are a little shorter) But as far as the milling goes there are no huge differences in the basic cuts.
