I have a crossfire tank and i am just wondering what the proper procedure is for removing and re-attaching the tank regulator.  I have to fly down to nationals in texas on thursday and i dont have any place to ship it to or have anyplace that can ship it back to me so i need to remove the reg for flight.

The reg is sealed with red locktite, the permanent stuff, you may want to take it to a shop to have it removed. When you put the reg back on you need to use red  loctite to secure it, and that takes 24 hours to dry so allow time for that.

heh apparantly the tank wasnt red loctited originally at all since it just involved me turning the reg with a wrench and having my friend hold the bottle.  Didnt use any heat or anything.  I dont even think it was blue loctited on.....
