http://www.automags.org/forums/showthread.php?t=195083

Hey guys, check out the thread I started in automags.org (sorry to be linking to a mag site  ).

These look like new, e-framed trilogys for real cheap.  The fact that the fronblock is cleaned up on the trilogys is real nice and having a low-price e-frame makes it a good candidate for halfblocking maybe???  Hint HINT!  I may just pick one up because they are so cheap.....then maybe get it halfed or midblocked......hmmmmm..... Cool

Using my eagle eyes (and the 3rd picture on the Action Village site of the blue-to-black fade Trilogy Competition SF), I spotted a T fitting.  Look at the 3-way.  The middle hose that comes from the LPR to go into the 3-way has a T fitting.  Another hose heads back from the 3-way under the "eye cover".

I am willing to bet that there is no eye.  Instead, the cover extends forward to cover the additional LPR hose that goes into the grip.  A closer look at the "eye cover" shows that it is very narrow at the bottom and probably not wide enough to support a standard reflective eye as is common on the eBlades and WorrBlades.  Another reason I'm pretty sure that there is no eye is the notable lack of mention of any kind of eye or paint sensing system.  Hopefully a cheap upgrade can be offered later.

Of course, the T fitting and the extra LPR hose going to the grip should give some further insight as to how the Trilogy SF grip operates.  Obviously it will be significantly different than the eBlades and WorrBlades that we've all come to know and love.

Regardless, this SF Trilogy has potential.  A T-board with eyes combined with an adjustable LPR upgrade and QEVs could give you a fast marker for cheap.  Personally, I don't know if I'd sink all of the money into a Trilogy to halfblock it, but that's certainly an option.

I saw this at the huntington beach nppl tournament. It has breakbeam eyes, and the trigger felt nice. The gun didnt look too bad for the price.
