What's up with the search feature?

the search feature will only search site news topics authored by drg, nothing in the forums or by any other authors, I like to use the search from time to time so I don't have to look thru page after page of threads to find info. Bug in the system?

This is a deficiency in the standard PHP-Nuke search feature. I have a better one that I will install, now that you remind me. The forum has its own search, which is working.
