well I just have to say this my turttle was recived worked well, when I sent it in for repair he got it done like he said did a wonderfull job milling for locking feed neck it took a little while but it was worth it because he did a good job at a good price.

Yea, I'm still waiting for my delrin body, TI says I should get it soon, but its been almost 5 months. I wouldnt hold your breath for a speedy turn around time.

i ordered a body kit from turtle innovations a month ago and still havent recieved it. He assures me that he shipped it two weeks ago. I contacted USPS and they havent gotten any package with the tracking number he gave me. I hope that it wasn't a mistake to go through TI. i guess we'll see soon though.

well, i filed a dispute on paypal. i called him the next day and he got really angry at me for filing a dispute saying that i was screwing over his other customers because he wasnt able to print shipping labels. i told him to put himself in my shoes and he hung up on me.  so i dont know whats going to happen next, but i just want my body kit or my money back. $335 is a lot of money! i wouldn't suggest Turtle Innovations to anybody, Mr. Long does not handle his customers with any respect what so ever! Sorry Mr. Long but hanging up on me while we're talking is not a very respectable thing to do!

This sounds very familiar because I went through the same exact thing. It took about 5 months for me to get my body and when I finally got it it wouldnt chrono over 240. Which body kit did you order? He did offer to fix it if I sent it back, but Im not sure I want to send it back, it might be awhile before I see it again. Good luck to you keep us posted.

well there has definitely been some progress made in just one day after filing the dispute! he wrote me an apology for hanging up on me which was very nice of him. i understand his frustration but i hope he also sees where im comin from! he also promised me that i would have the item this week or he would personally send me his own Boston Twister cocker! I personally would just like to get my body kit and get this whole thing over with....that really sucks to hear about your cocker peerless...makes me a little nervous about my cocker! I presonally wouldnt send anything back to him unless you had a couple of months to wait around for it to get back! lol...well i guess i'll see what happens huh!!

Mr. Long escalated the dispute to a claim and provided a tracking number. so i called paypal and they assured me that the tracking number was invalid because its almost two weeks old. he is going to have to refund me the enitre amount paid. so im getting my money back atleast. the only way Bob Long can keep the money is with a signaure confirmation from me that says i recieved the package! what a  total waste of time going through turtle innovation! he should be shut down!

Don't expect him to follow through when he says he'll give you his own personal marker.  When I ordered my Delrin Turtle body and went through this same dispute process, he told me that if I didn't receive it before Memorial Day weekend in 2006 that he'd give me my money back and still give me the body that I ordered.  I did eventually get the body after Memorial Day weekend, but the refund never came.  I didn't raise too much of a stink about it - at least I got my order a day or 2 after Memorial Day.

Just keep a cool head and keep doing what you're doing.  When I had to file my dispute, I kept calm anytime that I spoke with R. Long and just told him my point of view.  He calmed down pretty quickly and did his best to resolve the problem quickly.

It can take a bit of work and due diligence on your own part to get what you ordered, but there's a Delrin Turtle in the gallery that's proof that you do get your order eventually.
