i just got my cocker half-blocked and after putting it back together, it seems a little noisier than before. is my mind playing tricks on me or have you guys noticed this as well?

...noisier how? Like louder shot signature? More "clanking"?
I think its in your head but if it's setup wrong then you may be getting some noise from your sled.
