I am new to the cocker world and was wanting to get a couple of cockers halk blokced but I have no idea as to how the recocking process works once it is half blocked.  Will I will need the back block?  Also if I want to have my cockers half blocked and minied how does that work?

when you halfblock or midblock you mill a slot between the top tube and bottom tube. The pin will go through the bolt, sled and slot where it will catch a slot milled in the hammer. If you mini it makes no diffrence to the halfblocking just have to shorten the pump arm more.
