hey I may be buying a half assed from FBM soon, but one thing was bothering me: is there anyway the bolt pin could be shortened? I was noticing on the pics that it kinda stuck out. Its not really bad but i would prefer that it be lower than the feed neck. lol thanks.

one of my friends said that you could sand down a regular bolt pin, down to the right size, maybe by wet sanding, either that or he used a metal jig saw and then sanded down the sides. I dont remember all of what he said but I'll try to ask again.

That is an interesting idea, however as far as I know, no normal bolt pins are made out of steel, which I would imagine you would want for the extra load placed upon it during cocking. You should shoot FBM an email about it, they are pretty responsive.
