Hello all,

thanks for your advice ahead of time.

I bought a Jeff Orr Cocker and experience major velocity issues (+/- 30 on a good day with fresh Marballizer and good paint to barrel match [SP Freak]).

The IVG is turned in 2 - 3 threads from the back.

This is what I have tried so far (all to no avail):

- cleaned and relubed gun and stock inline regulator;

- two different regs (brand new AKA Sidewinder 0-700 psi range & sidewinder from an AKA Excalibur);

- two different air systems (SP Micro Max Flo, DYE Throttle)

I think I need to try new/different springs and/or a new valve(unless my logic is flawed).

Do you now the exact specifications of those springs? I couldn't find them online .....

I am not sure about that specific gun but generally cocker mainsprings are 2.00" free length x .480-.500" OD ... you can go down the 1.75" free length for lighter springs.

That is a very strange problem though, you should not be having that much variance. Have the settings been tweaked with much?

One thing to think about once go electro cocker low pressure is your friend !! I run mine@ 180psi and lpr at around 100-125 or my e2 solenoid geeks and spits.  If you got a buddy with low pressure tank I'd try it
