Strange. I have always tried to find a way to lighten the hammer, and find a happy medium with the springs to make it work so that you could lower the kick.

I have always drilled out the hammer and put a piece of delrin in it. This was on a regular body. With a low pressure spring kit, and a tiny bit cut off the valve spring, I was able to run my cockers at under 200 psi and have a lot less kick.

There's got to be a way make it work with the right kind of tuning.
