Mini & midgeting questions

Hi

I am building a halfblock pump. I would like to mini and midget it, the thing is all i have left is mechanical internals.

I have done it before but used an MQ so adjusting the IVG is not a problem, if i was to use a heavy main spring and weight the hammer slightly would i still be able to achieve full velocity?

You should still be able to but frankly midgeting with mech internals seems like more trouble than it's worth. You also lose space behind the hammer for extra weight. save midgeting for mQ guns.
